PhilipPhilip DerMargosian is a coach for CEO’s and senior leaders throughout the U.S. and Europe. He has created a powerful coaching approach that draws from his corporate and organizational experience of working for over 15 years in Fortune 500 companies in New York City, including more than a decade with the Avon Corporation in the areas of Human Resources, Communications, Consumer Information and Conflict Resolution.

Internationally, Philip has worked for Goldman Sachs London where he spent two years heading Learning and Development for their European Technology division. He is often sought out to work in the financial sector to support leadership development, M&A and press/media events. Some of his clients include Marsh, AXA, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Research International, Corbis, Astrazeneca, Merck, LOGICA and Etam. He provides coaching in Executive Leadership, Communication, Mentoring and Team Performance and is recognized for his international experience working in cross-cultural environments. He is sought out for his keen assessment and unique perspective and especially for his ability to energize and motivate individuals and teams to be leaders.

Philip is the creator of “Show Up Big”™, a coaching system which was developed to help individuals become charismatic leaders. The process is a synthesis of techniques drawn from the performing arts arena combined with traditional communication tools that focus the individual to consciously access their full range of knowledge, skills and talent.

Philip first began his work in leadership development and coaching in 1995, when he led a team at Avon Lifedesigns, a division of Avon Products, to create a workshop product that developed women in leadership roles to become more motivated, committed and creative in their professional lives. Currently, he uses both his organizational experience and artistic background to combine theoretical and systemic knowledge with a creative emphasis.

Philip DerMargosian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Northridge and a Masters from The Juilliard School for advanced studies in opera performance. He is trained and certified in Leadership Coaching by The Generative Leadership Group. He is also certified in “Leadership Effectiveness Analysis” (Management Research Group), “Situational Leadership” (Blanchard Group), “Technical Leadership” (Blessing/White) and “Strategic Relationship Management” (Harvard Business).

Philip teaches Human Resources Management, and Leadership at Sciences Po and continues to write on the topic of Leadership and Coaching. He is a founding faculty of Sciences Po Executive Master in Global Leadership for Top Executives.
